Hey, it’s Digger here!
I’m a 19 year old artist pursuing my studies in motor mechanics at college. An odd choice for someone like me, but it is something I believe everyone who owns a vehicle should have knowledge on.
I am currently living with my grandparents, who have been incredibly supportive of my health needs and artistic aspirations.
Unfortunately I suffer from Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). 1 in every 123 people in the UK have either Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis. Around roughly 70% of people with Crohn’s will require surgery at least once in their life. I am yet to have my first operation due to my illness, which I hope will not be for a long while yet.
My Uncle Craig has Ulcerative Colitis. He has a colostomy bag and has been helping me with my own illness by proving to me that as long as I persevere, I will get through whatever life throws at me.
Living with Crohn’s disease has really taught me the importance of resilience and perseverance. It’s not always easy, but I’m determined to overcome any obstacles that come my way and continue to pursue my passions.
Art has always been a passion of mine, and it’s helped me cope with the challenges of having Crohn’s.
I’m just starting to make a name for myself in the art world. It’s exciting to see my art being appreciated by others and to have the opportunity to express myself creatively.
I look forward to sharing more about my art journey and experiences with you all.
Thanks for stopping by!
